Sci-fi gun inspired by this amazing concept from Des Zhu:
For this project, my main focus was to speed up my modeling and texturing workflow. It was the perfect asset for experimenting some new exciting scripts and shortcuts that I’ve recently discovered on Maya.
The texture have been done on Substance Painter, an ideal tool for this kind of hard-surface asset. I've tried my best to keep a realistic look and not go too crazy on the procedural masks and effects.
Making the model took me less than one week and the texture one day.
