The Disney Iwájú series marked my first project with the incredible team at Cinesite, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
Collaborating with Disney Animation and Kugali Media, I contributed to bringing this vibrant world to life through environment modeling, set dressing, and prop creation.
I had the chance to get creative, especially with vehicle modeling, where I designed parts not visible in the concept art, such as rear sections and interiors.
The project was also a fantastic opportunity for growth. After a certain point, I was promoted to Quality Check, where I was responsible for ensuring that assets modeled by my colleagues were ready for the surfacing stage.
I also led training sessions, sharing tips and tricks with the team. With many juniors on board, it was a pleasure to give them feedback and watch their skills develop throughout the project.
One of the most memorable experiences was working on the massive junkyard set, a true team effort that involved managing numerous elements.
Despite it being my first project at Cinesite, I quickly gained significant responsibilities, and I’m genuinely proud of the work we achieved together as a team.
