As someone used to play video games since a kid, working on a big license like Leagues of Legend was like a child's dream come true.
This short have been realized for the Worlds 2017 Opening Ceremony, seeing the final result displayed in a crowded stadium on huge screens was very impressive.

What I prefer in this project was the fact that I have to work closely with the concept artist and digital matte painter, it was interesting to constantly exchange our ideas and find a smart way to approach this 2D look.

I was responsible of the modeling of all the weapons and Ash's beast. I have to stylized the shapes to fit the artwork, it was a lot of fun.
I also worked on Ash's environment, my model was based on the matte painting and we did a lot of camera projection.
Even if my work was kind of invisible on the final result, It was important to have something accurate because the animation, shadows and FX (snow particles, smokes) was based on this geometry.
